Working on my health --

Somedays it's harder than others. Today is a good day, soon I'll be more physically active instead of just a diet change, I hope to turn into a cheetah one day.

I need a haircut and a frame for prince. that's my to-do list for this weekend, oh, and sleeps. whole lotta sleeps.

In a few days, I'll be hitting my six month mark in Brooklyn. Fantastic. Time is flying by fast, and when I look at all the things that have happened/changed - My mind is blown. I hope I have grown as a person and am becoming wiser with each passing day. This city is full of life experience.

I started a new job, beautiful little office gig that buys me dinner if i have to stay late and even get me a cab home. never going back to the retail life again.

I started to eat healthy, hoping to undo the stress/fatgirl/indulgent eating damage I committed.

i'm gassy. stupid fruits & veggies got it poppin.

still a true player for real, ask puff daddy.

I'm learning to cook better males (that was a typo i didn't have the heart to erase, meals*) Tales of my burns/disasters/delicious fat clusters to follow.

LIFE LESSON: all that matters is being happy :} so do it!!!!

Life in New York City is lovely. I have finally accomplished the happy state of mind I've been looking for. You can really learn a lot about how people work, and how you work yourself, in this city. I was just in 7-11 getting a cherry/cola slurpee before work [breakfast of champs!] and was watching a woman steal chips right in front of my eyes.

life's lessons: people just don't give a fuck, it's a dog eat dog world, so enjoy your life. do everything you ever wanted to because you only get once chance. speak up because someone will always try to be louder than you. get yours.

not to say you need to be a bitter hunchback with a boil on your face, pushing your way through life, just remember that you need to live life for yourself and things will work out if you stay true to yourself.

Things I've been doing since my last update:

working at Guitar Center
partied like it was 1992 again
took a shit in the Pocono mountains, Pennsylvania
was disappointed in New Jersey ( it was everything I expected! )

Life has been a high concentration for work right now. I'm trying to make enough money to buy a couple of outfits for an office so I can have me a decent job. It takes money to make money.

The search for Grandpa Lemon [ my future tortoise ] has been a little relentless, but I'm not really trying too hard either .. I'm waiting for that 47 year old fat overgrown turtle to fall into my lap.

I've been seriously considering Culinary school next year. My heart says yes, my arteries say no (which really means YES)

So last night, We decided to go to Pacha! The hottest club in New York Citay! The Martinez Brothers were playing and it was crazay!! We partied until 4:30am.. Heres some footage, I even dance with an old little indian guy cause he jumped in the circle & humped his butt. (dont worry its in the video)

OH SHIT...
It was 4:30am , we are coming home from Pacha. . We are riding the west side highway nearing the bridge when we are almost rearended by a navigator, The speeding SUV changes lanes and rides up next to us and almost smashes into our driver side. As it passes us, it tries to change lanes to get in front of us, just then , the car swurves and almost clips us, it flies from one side all the way across the freeway, spinning full circle, only to end up back on the side it started on - ramming into the divider. We stop, a foot short of hitting the bumper that flew off, the Navigator is crashed to pieces. We pull out the phone to call 911, realizing that to our right, a girl is sitting on the highway, with blood all over her, crying.. another girl next to her is doing the same.. less than a foot to our driver side, is another girl, her ankle busted and bent in an unimaginable way.

They flew out of the fucking car. We called for helped, but were asked to return to the scene, being the first responders and the car that was immediately behind it to see it all, walking to the police on the scene, three more girls are in the bushes... there was at least 7 people thrown out of the car when it crashed.. the driver and front passenger were the only two who walked out of it, i suppose they were the only ones who had their seatbeats on. Their car was overloaded, and I’m sure they were all drunk, Theres no way you can survive being tossed like that without being drunk [ironically] ...

It was rather humbling. Ana, Noel and I came home and were grateful to be alive. Tonight we took it easy...

It's official.. I gave Walter my two-week notice today. I'll be moving to Brooklyn February 16th. I couldn't be happier, I am a little nervous, but I suppose that's natural and part of the process. This is a big step in my independence and something I've been needing desperately, I'm as ready as I could be! I know 2008 holds many great things for me, I can feel it. These past 6-7 months have been so eye-opening and I've grown so much, this couldn't have happened at a better time.

Miranda put it best when she said I have many pillars in New York, and will be safe. I know I can count on my Ventures to guide me into being a success and give me the tough & venturely love I need.

Los Angeles has been amazing to me, I'm proud of my city, my friends and family here are the bee's knees.

I'll plan a little party so we can all make-out before I leave...

If I wasn't so hesitant on if there is a god I'd say I am blessed, ah fuck it, I am blessed, by whatever dictation you want that under.

Griffith Park Fire Threatens Homes, 30% Contained

A fire that may have been intentionally set ripped through tinder-dry brush in the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Park Tuesday, gobbling up at least 200 acres and forcing the evacuation of the Los Angeles Zoo and other attractions in the area.

They evacuated the Zoo, and the new Observatory is in danger, so is the Greek Theater! Ahhh chit!
